Parking availability and pricing are being offered by NRIX and Faurecia Aptoide Automotive App Store in collaboration.

Inrix ParkMe allows drivers to search, compare, and navigate to available parking spaces in over 150 countries.

Faurecia Aptoide's solution provides carmakers and their customers with a connected and upgradeable App Store that is managed via an HMI and covers a variety of needs and use cases, such as navigation, fuel and parking information; music, video, and audiobook streaming; gaming market, weather, and point-of-interest recommendations.

OEMs may choose which applications to sell depending on user preferences in various locations.

Faurecia Aptoide automatically updates the apps, and the ecosystem adapts to the driver's security.

"Faurecia Aptoide provides a wonderful chance to promote our parking services to a large variety of consumers through its automotive App Store," stated Reinhard Richthammer, VP of Automotive EMEA at Inrix.

"Through this collaboration, drivers will have access to the most extensive and comprehensive parking offering available, including on-street and off-street parking availability and dynamic pricing directly from the dashboard.

Thijs van Herkhuizen, GM of Faurecia Aptoide, stated, "We're thrilled to be collaborating with Inrix and offering a solution for drivers all around the world that streamlines the way they park."

According to Inrix, it debuted the industry's first dynamic off-street parking service in 2013, followed by the industry's first real-time on-street parking solution in June 2015. Faurecia Aptoide will soon give customers with directions to the nearest street and garage parking place, as well as charges, limits, and real-time occupancy.

Inrix Parking provides parking database access in approximately 150 countries.

Faurecia Aptoide is a collaboration between Faurecia and Aptoide, one of the most popular independent Android App Stores.

In 2019, Faurecia and Aptoide partnered to create and run Android App Store solutions for the worldwide automotive sector.
