Vivo plans to open over 250 exclusive stores in India

Vivo, the Chinese smartphone company, has inaugurated a new experience flagship shop in Thane, Maharashtra, India, and expects to add over 250 unique stores in the nation this year.

The new 1800 ft2 'technologically smart and inventive experience' Thane store is divided into three sections: Accessory and the Internet of things (IoT), Gaming market and virtual reality (VR), and Photo.

Vivo's accessories and smart gadgets will be sold in the Accessory and IoT Zone.

The Gaming Zone has 'Ultra Game Mode,' which allows players to personalize each unique game.

On Vivo smartphones, VR and Photo Zone will highlight different artificial intelligence (AI) and photography features.

This year, the business intends to open 600 more locations.

"Keeping customer centricity at the core, we at Vivo try to provide our clients exceptional retail experiences," said Vivo India brand strategy director Nipun Marya.

"The offline channel has been a crucial component of our go-to-market strategy, and we shall continue to invest in this channel. In 2020, we want to open more than 250 exclusive stores, bringing the total to 600."

Furthermore, the business intends to create 20 additional experiential flagship stores in major cities and state capitals.

As part of the store's promotional plan, Vivo will pay 10% guaranteed cashback on all bank credit cards, debit cards, and EMI on all phones over Rs10,000 ($140) till February 29.
